Fox Sports will broadcast Thursday Night Football in 4K
Its own 4K offerings are being expanded by fox. It’s now doing the exact same the season of which kicks off on September 26th.
The air will be available through Fox Sports’ distributors, such as fuboTV, Altice Optimum, Comcast Xfinity, Verizon Fios, TVision and DIRECTV. As is the case with the Women’s World Cup, though, you will need a specific device to enjoy the matches in 4K — either an Apple TV or even Roku gear in the Shape of Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere+, Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku Ultra or some 4K TV with Roku OS built in.
Whilst FOX Thursday Night Football games will be simulcast on Twitch and Amazon Prime Video on top of that, NFL Network exclusive games will be available through via Verizon Media providers along with Yahoo Sports.
Fox says it’s planning on adding support for devices in the foreseeable future, but hasn’t given any dates as yet.
